This tea is made from the dried coffee blossoms from the farm La Linda, in Caranavi, Bolivia. Initially the Rodriguez family picked it as an experiment and once dried and brewed they were blown away by the flavour.
Blossom tea is not easy to come by, and for good reason: picking the flowers at the correct time is an incredibly difficult, labour intensive and important job. This is not just due to flavour but to ensure that they do not affect the next harvests production.
This tea is picked at La Linda and sun dried on raised beds. You’ll recognise this producer from some of the coffee we also purchased from Bolivia this year: Las Alasitas, La Llama and La Linda.
