Los Idolos is one of Caravela’s custom-created producer groups, designed to deliver long-term benefits for both coffee growers and roasters. It is a staple in both our Golden Hour and Lucky Stars Blends.

On the lush hills of Palestina, Huila, Linarco Rodríguez has built his life around coffee. Growing up on his family’s farm, he spent his childhood helping with harvests and learning the rhythms of coffee production. Though he once dreamed of studying business in the capital, those studies ultimately led him back to the most natural choice—coffee. Today, Linarco combines his family’s legacy with the knowledge he gained, running a true family business where every step, from farm to cup, is shared with his loved ones.

Processing here is as meticulous as the picking itself: cherries ferment for 18 hours in harvest bags, are pulped without water, and undergo a 60–72 hour fermentation in closed tanks. After a light washing, the coffee rests, dries slowly over 20–22 days, and is carefully stabilised before making its way to Caravela.
