Grown in the highlands of Nariño, this coffee comes from a region shaped by steep mountains and fertile volcanic soils. The Galeras volcano towers over the area, enriching the land around Pasto and Consacá with mineral-rich earth. Known locally as Taita, Galeras is revered as a spiritual guide and protector, deeply woven into the life of the community.

Caravela began working with producers in Consacá in 2016, building long-term relationships and gradually expanding their presence in the region through a shared commitment to quality and sustainability.
