Uraga Bisrat washing station was founded by Bisrat Melaku in 2014 in the highlands of Guji. Today, the station works with around 600 smallholder farmers from the surrounding area, providing a central point for local families to deliver their coffee. Bisrat is a coffee producer himself, managing his own small farm nearby alongside the washing station. The station sits at an exceptionally high elevation, surrounded by the farms and communities that contribute to each harvest.
