A note on the price increase (10/3/23)
We know this isn’t a huge surprise to anyone - the price of coffee has increased significantly over the years since we opened. Another significant price increase has affected our coffee prices at the beginning of 2023. The goal of Floozy is to allow as many people access to high quality coffee as possible, which is a huge factor in us trying to keep the price stable. As a small business we need to make a change though. There are two ways that we can see to go forward:
- Keep the price the same and try to find a cheaper component to put into the blend. This would mean a drop in quality or
- Keep the coffee that we know and love. Increase the price.
We simply cannot and will not entertain the idea of introducing lower quality coffees into our blends. The green coffee that we buy is what makes our coffee special. We have purchased from some of these producers for a number of years and being loyal to those relationships means something to us <3 Kmac x
